Word Work: Practice writing and spelling your red words Magic E words.
Draw word boxes for your red words and fill in the boxes with the letters for each word.
me, said, little, all
Use the Magic E word endings to create Magic E words:
_ ate: late, date
_ ake: cake, snake
_ ive: five, hive
_ ine: vine, nine
_ ope: nope, hope
_ ube: tube, cube
Reading: Good readers pay attention to their character's feelings and notice when and why their feelings change. Today we will review the First and Next of your graphic organizer and then complete the Then and Last boxes. As you read today pay close attention to and notice when and why your character's feelings changed. Remember to read for 15-20 minutes today and complete your Thursday reading log.
Math: Let's review using an open number line to add two digit numbers. Think about when you can "hop" by ones and when it is better to "hop"by tens. Please go to Pearson and complete your assignments for lesson 10-5.
Writing: I have LOVED seeing all your amazing art work and reading all of your thoughtful letters you wrote to the residents and staff at the Arbors. I have shared your hard work with Mrs. Preston and she is so proud of you too! Today you will work with Mrs. Preston to learn how to address an envelope so you can mail your beautiful cards. Arbors Day 4
Don't worry if you do not have an envelope or a stamp! You can practice addressing an envelope on a piece of paper and when we are back at SLH we can mail your card together!
