Word Work: This week we will continue to work with vowel teams to help us spell words. Today we will practice making new words with the long a vowel teams AI and AY. Practice reading and spelling these words for the week. Choose one red word and write a question with that word.
AI Vowel Team Words: aim paid pain chain train paint
AY Vowel Team Words: day way say play tray stray
Red Words: know around right
Reading: We will continue to make predictions about Judy Moody's good mood experiment and use clues from the text to help us determine what might happen next. When we finish reading today, make a prediction in your book and when you finish reading color in an April Reading Raindrop!
Math: Today in math we will check over your answers from yesterday's lesson together. Next go onto Pearson to watch the videos and complete the quick check for lesson 11.2.
Extra Math Challenge/Enrichment Optional: Complete page 620
Writing: We will continue writing our opinions. Remember an opinion is something that you think and feel. It is important to give examples and reasons to support your opinion, however not everyone has to agree with you. Your opinion is NOT a fact that needs to be proved. It belongs to you and just needs to be supported.
Guidance Lesson: Check out this lesson and activity Mrs. Wilson has planned for you.
