Reading: Today we will review the beginning, middle, and end of Thelma the Unicorn. As we read about Thelma today I want you to notice how Thelma feels in the beginning of the story and why she feels that way. Then notice what happens in the middle of the story. Does Thelma feel the same or do her feelings change? Why do you think? Complete the Day 3 Thelma the Unicorn's Feelings graphic organizer. Complete the First and Next boxes only. Write how Thelma feels and illustrate for the First and Next boxes. Today while you are reading for 15-20 minutes notice how your character is feeling and if their feelings change. Don't forget to fill out your reading log for Wednesday!

Math: Let's go over your open number line strategy, page 24 from yesterday. Try adding two digit numbers on an open number line on page 26. Remember you can use your 10 tall and 1 small cubes to help you count on too.
Social Studies: Today we will read about American Symbols and talk about the American flag. We will complete pages 124-126 together.
